A survivor of both Nazi and Communist oppression, he bravely resisted by establishing an underground Christian student group to challenge the Communist stronghold. Betrayed by double-agent Kim Philby and subjected to arrest, torture, and a life sentence, Gorka's unwavering fight for democracy and liberty serves as a testament to his resilience.
Following years of isolation, labor in the confines of a coal mine, and imprisonment in Budapest's political penitentiary, Gorka was liberated during the heroic Hungarian Revolution of 1956. Escaping with a fellow political prisoner's daughter, he traversed minefields along Hungary's Western border to freedom in the UK. There, he married Susan and welcomed their son Sebastian into the world.
Sebastian, raised by parents with firsthand experiences of authoritarian regimes and nurtured on principles of liberty, embraced the ideals of freedom from an early age. His affinity for talk-radio, cultivated during sleepless nights listening to London Broadcasting Company broadcasts under his pillow as a child, shaped his passion for combating totalitarian ideologies. Influenced by the indomitable spirit of Conservative icon Margaret Thatcher, Sebastian honed his skills in resisting fascist, communist, and global jihadist doctrines.
